RooR Rasta Logo Bongs

RooR Rasta Logo Bongs 1024x536, 77 Bongs

The RooR Rasta is one of the best bong designs we’ve ever tested. The main reason behind that? It’s a great-looking piece with an easy-to-use adjustable airflow system, and it packs some serious punch for its size. We’re also fans of this company because they make solid products at affordable prices, even if your budget sucks.

We recently reviewed several different manufacturers’ vaporizers, but something was missing—the perfect bong design. Many people like smoking weed, and many companies have designed bongs to satisfy those needs.

Unfortunately, most of them look ridiculous. They lack any aesthetic appeal whatsoever. Thankfully, RooR has created a line of sleek-looking bongs that will help anyone get high without looking like a fool. Here’s our favorite model.

These aren’t just novelty items either. Some of these bongs perform quite well, and they do so while making their owners appear as cool as possible when using them. Here are some important things to consider before buying yourself a new bong.

Design

How big is it? This should be obvious. Not! If you want a decent-sized bong, you must look beyond the typical 5″ models sold by head shops around college campuses everywhere.

Bigger isn’t always better, though, especially regarding these devices. Just remember that bigger doesn’t mean better. You’ll only end up getting wasted faster.

Is it heavy or light? I’m sure you already know what “heavy” means here, but let me explain how important weight is in this. When it’s time to pack away your gear after hitting the sack each night, you don’t want anything weighing down your backpack.

On the other hand, you don’t want your device to weigh too much. Otherwise, it may become uncomfortable over long periods. Fortunately, the RooR Rastas fit both categories perfectly. At 9 ounces each, none of them weighs more than 1 pound.

That makes them ideal for camping trips where extra weight could slow you down. Also, the fact that they’re made out of lightweight plastic keeps everything nice and breezy. These guys won’t cause you problems during hot weather hikes.

Finally, the weighted base helps keep them upright. Without it, they would tip forward whenever someone accidentally bumps into them.

Are they durable? How strong are these pieces? Are they built tough enough to withstand being thrown across rooms during parties? Can they take a hit from a hammer? All valid questions require answers.

Luckily, RooR has figured out exactly how thick they’d like their product to be. As such, they build them accordingly. Most importantly, however, they include two different kinds of bases. One kind allows users to rest the top portion directly onto whatever surface they desire (like a desk), whereas the second type requires additional weights placed underneath the entire thing.

Both work equally well, although the former is preferable since it frees up precious space inside your bag.

Do they come in multiple colors? Yes, please! Why settle for boring black when you can rock colorful designs instead? I think red looks good, but blue works almost as well. No matter which color you prefer, chances are you’ll find an online version.

Overall, the RooR Rastas offer a lot of bang for the buck. In addition to having aesthetically pleasing shapes, they also feature functional features that allow them to handle heavier hits than usual without causing any discomfort.

Using Them

When using these devices, you’ll notice immediately that they operate very differently from traditional ones. Instead of pulling smoke through a tube, it exits via holes near the unit’s bottom.

Apply pressure to a small pad mounted above it to activate this area. Doing so sends the air rushing toward the mouthpiece, allowing you to inhale deeply. Unfortunately, there’s no way to adjust the amount of oxygen going into your lungs.

However, the speed at which it moves through the body varies dramatically depending on whether you hold the stem straight or twist it slightly. Holding it at 90 degrees allows the maximum amount of water vapors to pass through, resulting in a fast-hitting session.

Twisting it 45 degrees causes less oxygen to enter, producing a slower high due to increased amounts of tar and other additives. Try experimenting with various angles until you discover what suits you best.

Speaking of stems, those suckers on RooR’s products are pretty unique. Unlike other brands’ models, they extend outward at a sharp angle rather than curving downwards. Not only does this provide a larger contact area between the bowl and your mouth, but it also offers greater control. Once again, try twisting the stem left and right to see what produces the best results.

Also worth noting is a sliding button attached to the side opposite the mouthpiece. Pressing it reveals three settings: low, medium, and high. Each setting adjusts the intensity level of your experience based on the distance between the pot and your face. For example, low mode applies full power to the bowl, while higher modes significantly reduce heat output.

Our Favorite Model

After testing dozens of bongs over the past few weeks, we finally settled on the RooR Rasta 3.5-inch diameter. Its overall appearance resembles a pen, yet its compactness makes it easier to carry around.

As mentioned earlier, it features a dual-action mechanism that provides you with complete control over both the temperature and flow rate. Another neat touch is that it includes two buttons on the sides, allowing you to turn the unit itself off and set it to your preferred temp and flow levels.

It is also the cheapest option, coming in at just $149.99. Even cheaper still are these smaller 2″ versions which sell for about half the price of the standard 3.5″ variety.

Either choice gives you access to a wide range of options, including five different colored bowls, clear acrylic lids, and four different styles of stems. We found that the 2″ RooRs were usually cheaper than the others yet performed nearly identically once adjusted properly.

In general, we liked these units. Their shape felt comfortable, and the ability to alter the temperature proved useful on occasion. Overall, they did everything correctly except deliver the biggest hits.

Despite that minor setback, we gave them 4 stars out of 5 because they produced nothing but positive feedback among everyone who used them.

Conclusion

If you’re tired of wasting money on silly gadgets that produce mediocre highs, then maybe it’s time to explore bongs. With the RooR Rastas, you won’t waste money on anything stupid, and you’ll never worry about breaking them, thanks to their rugged construction.

Best of all, you’ll be able to enjoy quality weed experiences with style. Check them out today.
