RooR Bongs 7mm
If you’re looking for a smaller RooR bong, the new 7mm is your ticket to heaven.
When I first heard about the RooR’s upcoming 7mm edition and saw its sleek design, I immediately knew that this was my next smoke machine—and not just because of size.
With an innovative “fins” system that allows air through while keeping ash out, the 7mm is designed with smoking in mind. And unlike some other small-format weed smokers, which are often made of cheap materials like titanium or plastic, the 7mm is made from handblown glass. This makes it feel more substantial than anything else on the market today.
And if you don’t want to deal with dealing with loose leaf cannabis, the 7mm also comes ready to be filled at home (for $99). The only thing you’ll have to do after getting your prerolled joint is pick up your bag and hit the road—no need to wait days until your bud turns into buds.
But what exactly does all those features mean? What can the 7mm actually achieve? And how much will it cost me when it finally gets released later this year? Here’s everything you should know before buying one.
What Is It?
The newest version of the world’s most popular portable vaporizer/smoke machine, the RooR, has been redesigned as a compact 7mm personal pipe that fits right in your pocket. With an easy-to-hold handle and clean exterior, the 7mm is perfect for discreet use anywhere you go.
This latest model retains many of the best aspects of previous editions but introduces a few notable improvements. For starters, the 7mm takes advantage of an internal fin mechanism that prevents the build up of any stray ashes inside the bowl — making cleanup easier down the line.
Also, the 7mm uses a lighter base chamber that heats up faster so you can get more hits off without having to refill the whole thing every time. Lastly, the 7mm now has a built-in LED light that can display different colors depending on your mood.
While still pretty tiny compared to traditional large bowls, the 7mm feels solid considering its diminutive stature. Its main body is shaped like a cone with a flat bottom where you place your hand to hold the stem, and two side chambers that house the heating unit and fan respectively.
On top there’s a removable mouthpiece cover that acts as both a decorative accent for your setup, and serves as a handy way to keep track of remaining battery life.
On each end of the device there are four raised ridges called fins, which create airflow through the entire structure while preventing any leftover ash chunks from building up. These fins work similar to the chimneys found on a grill, allowing hot gases to flow upwards and pushing residual material outwards through the exhaust hole below.
I’ve used several vape pens over the past few years, including ones by PAX and Grenco Science, and none felt quite as smooth or consistent as the RooR 7mm when it came to delivering quality concentrates. In fact, even though these things typically come equipped with 510 connectors, I never had any trouble using them with whatever kind of wax I’d usually try.
One neat feature unique to the 7mm is that it includes three different settings for temperature control. There’s a low setting for subtle effects, medium for something stronger, and high for maximum effect. Another nice touch is that the 7mm offers five color options for displaying the current battery level: red, white, blue, purple, and green.
Unlike some other vapes, the 7mm doesn’t require any special tools to fill, pack, or take apart. Just grab your preferred strain of weed, load up the bowl, put some water inside, plug it in, and start inhaling. Once the desired amount of THC enters your lungs, simply remove the cap from the top of the tube and enjoy.
As far as maintenance goes, cleaning the 7mm isn’t too complicated either. All you really need to do is rinse out the bowl under warm running water once in awhile to make sure any gunk left behind doesn’t cause problems further down the line. If dust or debris ever starts clogging the bowl, just gently scrape it away with a toothpick or cotton swab.
Overall, the 7mm is very straightforward to operate, and is intuitive enough for anyone who’s smoked marijuana before to figure it out quickly. But if you aren’t familiar with these devices, here are some helpful tips to help you avoid burning yourself when you’re trying to concentrate.
First, remember to always heat the bowl slowly and evenly. That means taking extra care to ensure no part of the flame touches the sides of the glass rather than directly hitting the oil within.
Second, be careful not to let your hands linger around the bowl while it’s being heated.
Thirdly, make sure you turn your phone camera off during sessions because they tend to draw attention.
Finally, stay safe! Always wear protective eyewear, gloves, and long sleeves whenever possible.
Smaller formats typically offer better performance than larger ones since their shorter tubes allow for quicker draws. While this might seem counterintuitive due to higher temperatures, the ability to focus more closely on your technique is worth the tradeoff.
Additionally, the 7mm’s streamlined design allows for quick portability between rooms and spaces, whether you’re traveling alone or hanging with friends.
It’s fun watching the LEDs change colors based on your intake, especially if you prefer darker strains. And overall, the 7mm performs well and looks great doing it.
Because the 7mm only requires filling twice per week, you won’t have to worry about refilling the bowl regularly like you would with other models. However, this convenience may also lead to less frequent usage overall.
Additionally, the 7mm isn’t compatible with any accessories like dabbing rigs, grinders, etc., meaning you won’t have access to any additional functionality unless you buy separately.
Lastly, the 7mm’s price tag seems steep compared to competitors’ products. A regular RooR costs $169, whereas the cheapest Pax 2 retails for $79. Still, given the superior quality of the 7mm, we think it’s definitely worth paying the premium.
Should You Buy It?
Yes. Even though the 7mm hasn’t officially launched yet, it already stands above nearly every major competitor thanks to its exceptional construction and innovative design. We expect it to sell out fast given that demand continues to remain strong for such a niche product.
For beginners or intermediate users interested in edibles, however, we recommend sticking to the original 6×6 instead. Though slightly bigger, it packs a punch that’s difficult to replicate with smaller versions. Plus, if you happen to find yourself enjoying the milder effects of the 7mm, the 6×6 will likely provide a smoother transition to full flower.

Roor Bong Custom Dealers Cup 7mm – Behemoth
The monstrous Dealers Cup with a wall thickness of 7mm and a tube diameter of 50mm was declared the absolute favorite by RooR dealers. The large body of this pipe satisfies the demand for more volume, which guarantees the well-loved lower pressure.
Stability, functionality, aesthetics; are the main criteria for a good water pipe. High-quality raw material, professional processing, and, naturally, the thickness of the pipe wall together with the pipe diameter are the prerequisites for stability.
Roor Bong Custom Icemaster 7mm – White Lines
With a solid silver hemp leaf emblazoned on the purest Borosilicate glass, this majestic bong is a genuine masterpiece.
This very special Custom 7.0 uses the classic Icemaster base. There are snow-white ice notches molded into the shaft to allow for the addition of ice cubes to cool the smoke as you inhale. Two reductions between the ice notches and the bistable joint offer a greater grip for extra stability, as well as contributing to this bong’s amazing design.
The snow-white crown and bowl match the ice notches, while the entire look is finished off in style with a classic white RooR logo on the opposite side to the solid silver hemp leaf.
