High Quality Bubbler Bongs 1024x536, 77 Bongs

Bubblers and Sherlocks might be the most beautiful bongs you’ve ever seen! The colors mixed in magical swirls form a masterpiece that will take your breath away before even taking one hit—these must-haves for anyone who loves eye candy.

Bowls or anything else made with glass are perfect too because they can hold up to 30ml of liquid, meaning there’s plenty left over when it comes time To clean them out after use – but don’t worry; we have instructions on how easy this task is (and bonus: no expensive cleaning products needed).

Bubble pipes are the simplest type of bong to make, but they also produce some great effects. A bubble pipe is simply a tube with an air pump attached at one end and open water sealed in the other. As you inhale through the hose, the bubbles travel into your mouth, where they expand.

This causes a cool misting effect that makes it feel like smoking without burning tobacco leaves or filling your lungs with smoke. There are several things to consider when looking for a quality bubbler.

If you’ve ever tried to roll cigarettes using paper tightly around tobacco, you know how hard it can be to get them lit. You might even get stuck trying to do this on wet grass!

In reality, rolling a cigarette takes little effort compared to lighting tobacco which requires special equipment and skills. But what if there was a way to simulate all those wonderful tobacco flavors by only having to light a match once instead of constantly rolling fresh smokes?

What if you could enjoy the benefits of smoking while avoiding the hassle of buying expensive gear? Luckily, it turns out there is – it’s called a “Water Pipe,” and it’s simple enough anyone can build their own.

This article will walk you through making your basic Bubbler (also known as a “Suck-Through Water Pipe”), so you’ll have no excuse to try it out. Let me warn you, though; I’m going to go pretty fast here because we don’t want our first time building a homemade bong to take too long.

So buckle up, grab your favorite glass and stick around until the bottom of this page.

What’s A Bubble Pipe?

A bubble pipe is any small-diameter plastic hose with an attachment point near each end. One end has a bowl-shaped piece with a tiny hole drilled through its center, and the opposite has an adjustable pressure regulator screwed onto it.

When you put anything liquid inside these tubes, whether plain tap water or alcohol, the two ends mix, creating thick bubbles. When you suck down through the straw part of the pipe, the bubbles rise into your mouth, causing a cooling sensation similar to taking a real puff off a joint.

This gives off a nice clean feeling, unlike traditional methods of smoking that burn and sting the eyes, nose, and throat. The best thing about this method is that it allows people who aren’t used to doing drugs to start experimenting with different types of substances without worrying about overdosing on chemicals or fumes.

It should come as no surprise that many smokers prefer this form of consumption over regular joints and bowls since most people won’t use something stronger than their body weight unless they need to.

However, although they may seem fairly rudimentary, bubble pipes still require quite a bit more skill than just sticking a pinch of tobacco between your lips.

How Much Does It Cost To Make Your Own?

With the right supplies and tools, you can complete a beginner’s level project for less than $20. Keep in mind, however, that you can spend hundreds of dollars purchasing high-grade materials and specialty pieces if you upgrade your design later.

Most people now opt for cheaper materials and save money rather than spending extra cash later. With that said, let’s look at the cost breakdown for completing a bubble pipe with minimal upgrades:

Plastic tubing ($2) – These thin, flexible tubes are available online or at almost every hardware store. They usually measure anywhere from 1/4 inch to 3 inches in thickness and vary greatly depending on the length needed.

Plumber’s tape ($1) – Also referred to as duct tape, plumbers’ tape and masking tape work well when sealing joints and holes. Be sure to buy rolls that are wide enough to cover larger diameters.

Duct board ($5) – This large sheet comes pre-cut with rectangular sections measuring four feet across. You can cut smaller-sized rectangles from the bigger ones for additional lengths if necessary.

Bowls ($3) – Since these devices consist entirely of clear plastic tubing, you can purchase dozens of bowls of varying sizes and colors. Remember that each size needs a slightly different tip for maximum performance.

Pressure regulators ($8) – While these components are inexpensive, finding good-quality models that fit your specifications can be difficult. Take your time shopping around before choosing one.

Total Price = $38 + tax

That doesn’t include accessories such as screens, stems, etc., but it gives you a general idea of what you’d pay for a decent starter set. Now that you understand the basics, let’s discuss creating your custom bubble pipe.

Do You Need Special Equipment?

Since everything you need is already included in the above list, you shouldn’t worry about renting any specialized equipment. You’ll probably need a drill to bore out the hole for the bowl assembly.

Some higher-quality models feature locking bases that screw directly into existing plumbing fixtures, but I wouldn’t recommend relying on that functionality. Instead, you should focus on picking a model that fits comfortably within reach and offers space for movement.

What Are The Best Designs For Making Your Simple Water Pipes?

Once you decide what style of Bubbler you would like, there are three main factors to consider.

First, the height of the finished product determines how much draw is required to fill your lungs with vapors. Generally speaking, taller designs provide greater draw resistance due to their longer length.

Second, the shape of the bowl plays a big role in determining how deep the user must hold their breath. For example, rounder shapes allow users to breathe deeper, whereas elongated bowls encourage shallow breathing.

Thirdly, the number of separate compartments helps determine the amount of vapor produced per pull. Having multiple chambers increases the surface area exposed to air and produces more vapor.

Finally, keeping track of the overall dimensions of your creation becomes critical during assembly. Even the tiniest deviation can cause major problems, so make sure to write down measurements carefully.

I chose to build my first Bubbler after reading many reviews stating that it seems easier to maintain proper technique by seeing the entire process.

So I opted to go with a shorter design made of thinner plastic tubing with a wider base. I wanted a relatively low profile, so I picked a rounded bowl shape. My final device measured roughly 12 inches tall, 5 inches in diameter, and weighed only 2 pounds.

That means it took about ten minutes to assemble under normal circumstances. You should always test your new invention before breaking it out for the first time.

The Pros And Cons of DIY Bubbler Pipes

Here are some pros and cons associated with making your own vs. buying commercially manufactured products:

Pros

  • Cheaper
  • Cleaner
  • No Chemicals
  • Easy Assembly

Cons

  • Harder to Clean
  • More Maintenance Required
  • Less Flavorful

Conclusion

Building your Bubbler may sound complicated, but it’s easy once you wrap your head around the concept. Once you become familiar with the insides of the various parts, assembling a unit in less than 10 minutes isn’t uncommon.

From personal experience, I found that the cleanup process wasn’t nearly as challenging as I thought it would be. On average, cleaning a commercial budder cleaner costs approximately five times as much as washing a few dirty dishes.

All told, it’s worth every penny spent if you plan on continuing with home production in the future.
